Fairview Focus January 2023

Dear Friends,

It is the most wonderful time of the year when we share special moments with our family, friends and loved ones and look forward to brand-new opportunities with optimism and enthusiasm for this coming year.

I would like to express my appreciation to all the Fairview City employees and Council members for their dedication, commitment, and service to our community. The outstanding work that all the departments perform is why we have a vibrant and forward-focused community.

In the spirit of the season, I commend all those neighbors who have made a special effort to give back to our community. Thank you to the men and women for making our community great and finding time to give back to help others.

Let us not forget 2022, as it has set the foundation for this next year.  As the new year approaches, it is truly an exciting time to be in Fairview.  We have many new projects that will begin in 2023 that will greatly improve our city infrastructure and recreational opportunities.  We are committed to adding amenities for families to take pride in.

On behalf of the City of Fairview, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your loved ones to have a joyous holiday season and with many blessings in the New Year.

Mayor Brad Welch

Have you seen the addition to the Sports Park? Fairview City has an Ice-Skating Rink!!

Just east of the arena parking lot the city has installed an ice-skating rink. There is also a small hill to play on in the snow.

Skating is free. There will be skate rentals available soon. Please check FairviewCity.com and/or “Fairview City” Facebook page for more information on skate rental times and costs.

Fairview City Hall will be closed on January 16, 2023, for Martin Luther King Jr holiday

With the winter season upon us, please move all trailers and vehicles that are parked in front of your residence so they are off the pavement at least 4 ft. This will make it easier when plowing snow.
