Notice is hereby given to utility users of Fairview City that a transfer will be made from the electrical fund to the general fund to help cover expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017.

Fairview Museum of History and Art
We are in need of people to serve as volunteers for a few hours each week. Don’t forget the Annual Car Show and Fund Raiser July 24th. To purchase a ticket for the items to give away, please contact the Museum.

Fairview Senior Citizens
It is another month and we hope that spring is here. The Senior Citizens will be having Pot Luck on June 14th at 6:00pm, please bring your own dishes and a dish to share. The Board will be cooking on June 28th, bring your dishes along with $3.50 and join in the fun, it will be a great time for all.

Queen – Kaydence McKinney, Fairview, daughter of Brad and Alesa Fullmer and the late Josh McKinney; 1st Attendant – Sadie Cartright, Ephraim, daughter of Travis and Stacie Cartright; 2nd Attendant – Cheyenne Hermansen, Fairview, daughter of Jeremy and Tori Hermansen. Tuesday June 13th – Thursday 15th we will sell bundles of 10 tickets (ten tickets for each of the four events) at $280.00 per bundle will be available at the City Office.

Saturday June 24th @ 9 am at the Fairview Rodeo Grounds, Derby tickets will be sold to the public. Each person can purchase up to 10 tickets. Cost of ticket will be $15.00 per person including babies.

If there are any tickets left after Saturday June 24th they will be sold July 11 – 12th and July 19th from 8:30am to 2:30pm at the City Hall. Last year we sold out for the derby.


Annual Drive 4 Food ATV Ride
Saturday July 22th, Fairview Drive 4 Food will sponsor a charity OHV- ATV ride on the Arapeen Trail. Benefits from this event will go directly to the Sanpete Food Pantry. The ride will begin at Skyline Motor Sports. Check-in will begin at 7:00 am, and the ride will start at 8:30am. This will be a 70 mile ride that begins in Fairview and climbs Pleasant Creek Canyon to Scenic Skyline Drive where riders will enter the Arapeen Trail System of the Manti LaSal National Forest. Riders will pass Potters Ponds, Millers Flat Reservoir, on to the South Skyline Parking lot, then south back to Pleasant Creek. For more information contact Jeff Jarman.

June 10, 2017 Skyline Mountain Resort. Tee off at 8:30am Call 435-427-9575 today to register. Hole-in-one wins a KYMCO Side x Side ATV. Help us benefit the Sanpete County’s Pantry Food Bank.

The Parks Committee has asked for your help to move to the next phase in adding more activities to the sports park. If you would be willing to help, please contact the City Office and donate an additional $5.00 or more to the Sports Park thru your monthly power bill.
