The Mayor and City Council would like to thank all those that made the 24th successful. It takes the entire community to make it happen.

No open fires are allowed in Fairview City.

The City is asking you to watch watering your lawns and gardens. Please conserve the water. It appears we are going into another dry summer.

Fairview Senior Citizens
The Senior Citizens will be holding their Annual Yard Sale Saturday August 12 from 8am to 2pm at the Seniors Building. The only lunch will be August 9th for the Senior BBQ. Meat and rolls will be furnished. Please bring a pot luck item. No meeting will on August 23rd.

American Flags on Veteran’s Graves in Fairview Cemetery. If you would like to donate to this project please contact the City Office.

Sports Park donations can be made at the City Hall or in your utility bills.

The flag football program is for youth in grades 1st through 8th. Boys and Girls will play on the same team. Games will begin in September and run through October. Games will be played on Monday & Wednesday nights. Registration from July 25th – August 18th. Registration fee is $35.00.

Fairview City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the city council room, 85 South State, to receive public input regarding the transferring of money from the electrical enterprise fund to the general fund for budget year ending June 20, 2018. It is proposed that $56,849 or 2% be transferred to help with the administrative costs in the general fund.

Fairview City Council will hold an additional public hearing on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. in the council room, 85 South State, to receive public input regarding a proposed tax increase. And, to receive input for or against the estimates of revenue and expenditures or any item thereof in the tentative budget of any fund for fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, open and amend budget ending June 30, 2017, and adopt the certified-tax rate proposed by Sanpete County.
