Fairview Sewer Plant: Please do not flush down your sewer line items such as: grease, latex disposable gloves, wet wipes and etc. They are causing problems to the plant.

Fairview Senior Citizens There will be only 1 meeting in each November and December. Thanksgiving Dinner will be served November 8th at 6:00pm. The Christmas Party will be December 13th at 6:00pm Cost will be $7.50. Bring your own dishes, Come and join the Senior Citizens.

Youth Basketball Boys’ and Girls’ Leagues, a program of the Utah Jazz and Community Recreation agencies. For more information call 435-469-0759. Please sign your youth up as soon as possible if they want to participate this year. Applications are at Fairview City Office. Signup Deadline is November 17th.

Dear Santa Letters—- Encourage your children to write a letter to Santa and receive a handwritten letter back. We will have the Santa mailbox in the Fairview City office starting November 27th, you can also bring your letters to the Santa Party on December 11th. The mail box will be available until Monday December 18th at the City Hall. Santa and his helpers will respond personally by mail. Please make sure your child’s letter has a clear name and return address on it.

Fairview Museum We invite anyone who would like to join with us decorating a Christmas tree to be presented to a family in need. Size of trees that work the best are around 6-8 feet tall. Either live or artificial trees will work. Put your own special touch on it. We will present them to the families around the 15th of December. The Museum will accept trees during November. Come and see them, last year the trees were wonderful. Come be part of this special event. If you know someone that could use a tree this year because of their needs, please contact Alan Nelson at the Museum.

Planning Commission will be on November 16th at 7:30pm this month.

Fairview City Council will be holding a public hearing on the proposed Annexation of the Rodeo Grounds and Sports Park into the City limits. November 28th at 7:30pm in the City Council room.

Veterans Day Nov 11th, 2017. Everyone is invited to attend the dedication of the New VFW Display at the cemetery. A short program will be held at the Fairview Cemetery Saturday November 11th at 10:00am. Regular flag ceremony will be at 10:30am Saturday. Please come and support our Veterans.

Fairview Library Please join us at the Bookmobile Headquarters 75 South State, for Story Time. Starting: October 11th on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 12:30pm will be story time for your children. Please come take part of this program. Dates for the remainder of 2017: October 11th, October 25th, November 8th, November 22nd and December 13th. Library hours are Monday thru Thursday 10am till 4:30pm.

SAVE THE DATE! North Bend Entertainers presents: “A Christmas Carol” by Charles dickens. Come and enjoy the Christmas classic full of ghosts, love, loss and redemption. Great for the whole family. November 24, 25, 27 and December 1st at 7:00pm. Peterson Dance Hall. Tickets will be sold at the door. Come and “play” with us.
