Have you seen the addition to the Sports Park? Fairview City has an Ice-Skating Rink!! Just east of the arena parking lot the city has installed an ice-skating rink. There is also a small hill to play on in the snow.

Skating is free. There are skate rentals available for $5.00. 

Ice Skating open to public. The rink is lighted for night skating. Please call City Hall during business hours to pay/or check/cash in person @ rink. Call Wendy 435-494-6186 to set up time to get skate rentals. Skates need to be returned by 8:PM

(If you own your own skates it is free) Stay safe and have fun!

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Fairview City Council gives notice that on February 21, 2023, at 7:30 p.m., a public hearing will be held at the Fairview City Hall, 85 South State Street, Fairview, Utah, concerning the proposed East Fairview Annexation of private real property within the following: 

Parts of Section 36, T13S, R4E; Section 31, T13S, R5E; Section 1, T14S, R4E; Section 6, T14S, R5E; Section 12, T14S, R4E; Section 1, T14S, R4E; Section 6, T14S. R5E; and Section 12, T14S, R4E Salt Lake Base & Meridian.

The complete legal description and map are available for review online at Fairviewcity.com or at Fairview City Hall. A written protest may be sent to Fairview City, P.O. Box 97, Fairview, Utah 84629 or dropped off at the City Hall. A written protest may also be accepted at the public hearing.

This is an election year. There are three Fairview City council seats to be filled this year. They are four-year terms. The declaration date for running is early June. Please consider serving our city.

March 8th 4:00 PM to 6:00 Pm at the Fire Station. The annual dog clinic will be held. Dog licenses will be available for purchase. All dog in Fairview City are required to have a license on their collar. 

Senior Center Rental Information

The Senior Center located at 160 North 100 West is available for your event. To make a reservation contact Erma Lee Hansen at 435-680-9349 or 435-427-9349. $75 rental fee.

Wondering what is going on in Fairview?

The Planning Commission and City Council meetings are open to the public. The Planning Commission meets at 7:30 pm on the first Thursday of every month. The City Council meets on the third Thursday at 7:30 pm. The meetings are in the city council room at city hall. More information can be found online at www.fairviewcity.com
