Notice of Public Hearing
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 21, 2020, the Mayor and City Council of Fairview City will hold a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect in seeking funding from Community Impact Board (CIB), Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), and Rural Development in the form of a loan/grant for $2,960,000 for a sewer reuse project pursuant to Utah Administrative Code R317-1-3.1, Requirements for Waste Discharges. The project includes treating the water from the wastewater plant and reused as secondary water to irrigate the Fairview City Cemetery.
The public hearing will begin the hour of 7:35 p.m. The location of the public hearing is in the City Office, 85 South State Street, Fairview, Utah. In the event traditional meetings are being discouraged because of the COVID -19 or other rules, regulations or executive orders, those wishing to participate in the public hearing may call the following number (435) 427-0233, PIN access 1515, prior to the meeting to connect to the meeting or receive instructions to do so. The purpose of the meeting is to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Bonds and any potential economic impact to the private sector from the construction of the Project to be funded by the Bonds. All members of the public are invited to attend and participate.
