Public Notice-Vacancy of Mayor
This is a formal notice that the Fairview City Council intends to fill the vacancy of Mayor.
Notice pursuant to Utah Code 20 A-1-510(b), this notice will be posted through Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at the Fairview City Hall, Fairview Post Office, Miller’s Chevron, Junction Market, and the Utah Public Access website inviting all interested and qualified parties to apply for this vacancy.
All applicants must meet the qualifications of section 10-3-301 of the Utah Code:
*U.S. Citizen
*Registered voter of Fairview City
*Resident of the City for the past 365 days
*Not being a convicted felon, unless the right to hold an elective office has been restored.
Those wishing to submit their name for consideration must do so no later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, to the City Recorder.
Be advised that whoever is selected will be appointed through December 31, 2021.
Fairview City Council will meet on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in the Fairview City Hall, 85 South State Street to fill this vacancy.
