Fairview City Cemetery Rates

Opening of a grave to exhume is $600.00. Must be opened by an authorized mortuary or other party.

Residents will be defined as:

1. One who has a primary residence within the municipal boundaries of Fairview City
2. Health impaired individuals who reside in Fairview City but due to varying actors must live in a rest home or other care facility outside of Fairview City

Burial Procedures:

1. Notice to the City must be made no later than 48 hours prior to burial
2. Inform City of plot to be used
3. If burial rights and interment fees have not been pre-paid, these and any unpaid fees must be paid before the grave will be opened
4. Except for that of an infant or cremations, no casket shall be interred unless enclosed in a concrete burial vault
5. Unless prior arrangements have been made, all burials shall take place allowing the complete burial process during regular City business hours
6. No burials or disinterment will be allowed on Sunday’s or Holidays
7. Two cremation burials may be buried on one grave space and one grave space may include a full burial and/or baby grave or cremation baby grave or cremation grave on one plot
8. Infants/cremations will follow the same rules as other burials unless noted above
