Fairview City Council will meet in a work session on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at the Fairview City Hall, 85 South State, Fairview, Sanpete County, Utah. The work session will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to work on the budget for fiscal year July 1, 2019, ending June 30, 2020
The Fairview City Council will be conducting a special council meeting to brief the City Council and Pubic on a mudslide that occurred Friday evening around 7:00 p.m. The slide severed the spring transmission line.
Fairview City Council will hold a public hearing for public input for consideration of lowering the water-base rate from 8,000 gallons per month to 5,000 gallons per month. The City Council is also looking into increasing the rate-step structure on water overage used thus encouraging citizens to help in conserving water.
