The Fairview City Council will be conducting a special council meeting to brief the City Council and Pubic on a mudslide that occurred Friday evening around 7:00 p.m. The slide severed the spring transmission line.
Fairview City Council will hold a public hearing for public input for consideration of lowering the water-base rate from 8,000 gallons per month to 5,000 gallons per month. The City Council is also looking into increasing the rate-step structure on water overage used thus encouraging citizens to help in conserving water.
