Fairview Museum presents Meet the Candidates Night Tuesday, October 17th at 7 pm at the Fairview Museum. 

Fairview Senior Citizens Pot Luck will be 2nd Wednesday, October 11th at 6:00 pm. Annual Meeting and dinner will be October 25th at 6:00 pm. Bring your own dishes, Come and join the Senior Citizens.

Fairview Library Please join us at the Bookmobile Headquarters 75 South State, for Story Time. Starting: October 11th on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 12:30 pm will be story time for your children. Please come take part of this program. Dates for the remainder of 2017: October 11th, October 25th, November 8th, November 22nd and December 13th. Library hours are Monday thru Thursday 10 am till 4:30 pm.

Fairview City is accepting applications for volunteers to serve on the Fire Department. We are looking for both men and women. Note: You need to have a good driving record and have no felony convictions. Please come to the City Hall/Fire Department located at 165 North State Street on Tuesday nights at 19:00hours or 7:00 pm. Elections November 7, 2017. Remember to vote next month. If you are not registered, it is not too late to do so. Just get a hold of the County Clerk and register. You should be receiving your ballots around the 20th of this month, cast your vote and return them in the mail. This is the only way to vote this year. Please read over the RAP Tax information that will be along with your ballot, if you have any questions please free to contact the City Office.

Kids Halloween Parade will be October 31, 2017. You do not want to miss this activity.

Fairview City Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing Thursday, October 12th, at 7:30 pm in the City Council Room. Items of discussion will be the use of steel cargo containers as an accessory shed, parking on City right of ways, and living in a Recreational Vehicle in the City Limits. The public is invited to attend and give input on these items prior to being forwarded to the City Council for a zoning amendment.

Your Utility bill is due at the end of each month. If it is not paid by the 20th of the following month your power will be turned off.
